Pierre Robert, the genial and unmistakable midday host on Philadelphia's 93.3 WMMR for more than four decades, passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 70. Robert's voice was a daily ritual and a civic thread. His blend of kindness, musical knowledge, and enthusiasm shaped WMMR's identity and the city's rock community for more than 40 years. Colleagues and artists described him as a champion of musicians at every level, from stadium headliners to neighborhood bands.
